1967 IHC/Carpenter Short Bus Redo

Just got this 67 Schoolmaster, 20 ft, thinking of converting back to a schoolbus. Looking forward to the forums and info here, other bus nuts too.

I feel blessed to have stumbled upon it. Had just bought an 87 32ft GM/ward coach with a turbobdiesel, but this IHC look is what I really like. Most likely because I rode in the loadstars back in the day going to school.

I rode loadstars as a kid so feel very blessed to have stumbled on this. Had just gotten a 32ft 1987 GMC/Ward Turbo diesel but could not pass this one up. And it had been advertised online a whole week. Numbers 7 and 8 in my whole life but only have 2 currently.

Northeastern Arizona, bus came from California thru previous owner around 2010 I believe. Found the old black and yellow Cali tags in The bus so put them on when it's parked just because.

I lived in SoCal for a dozen years, and I never heard tell of any Big Oak Flat! Prolly uber rural.

Too cool on the tags, I always liked the look of the old school yellow on black plates...

Got the bus running, replaced Ign switch n key, won't stay running with foot off hasn't suspect stuck float or clogged Needle valve perhaps. Lucky however, engine purrs.
