Wow. That's nice. Unusual paint color for a bus. But it looks good.

I had a Ford Aerostar painted those colours. The kids & I called it "the Reese's cup" except we pronounce it Reesies. We thought it looked like peanut butter and chocolate. Downside is I ate a lot of Reese's cups during the year I owned it. I really don't know why.

You know, I would sure like a Reese's cup. Maybe I will walk over to the convenience store before it gets dark.

That sure is a clean bus! Are you sure that it is not a 2005--it's clean enough to be. I like the color combo and the detail work. What are your plans for the bus? I'm guessing it has a computer controlled "pulse jet" Quadra jet carb, or is it EFI? Keep the pics coming and take it for a run and let us know how it goes

Re: 1985 Chev Bluebird Micro Bird Bus

I bought this bus from a church in Tennessee last month. Only 45k on the odo. Once I saw it, I had to have it. Since I've had it, the interior has been gutted. Seats and luggage racks removed and down to the subfloor. Don't know at this point what the long term plan is. The possibilities seem endless now. I just want to drive! Will post more pics as I go.

My original long term plan is now on version 5.3. Take your time and have fun.

Interesting windows. Doesn't look to me like it started life as a skoolie.

Did you complete your conversion? I just purchased a 1986 bluebird micro. I'm having a hard time finding parts. There's a leak in the water crossover. The part has been discontinued. Any idea where to find parts for 1986 6.2l diesel?
