Skoolie stigma... it can be tough. At least up here in the frozen wastes of the north, the worst you get is the whole "dirty hippie" thing. Why not just abandon that capitalist gig while you have this excellent opportunity and move into the bus? Believe me when i tell you, the simplicity of bus life is as good as it gets.

Sorry to hear about your job loss and I agree with smitty, state farm SUCKS you're better off when you get another job, if not now. My bus project is also on hold until construction picks up sometime in the future.

I like the quote that you have as your signature... that should easily guide you through any problems you may have. Christmas is always the crisis time for me and for many people that i know. Just enjoy the heck out of your extended holidays and jump on the money thing in the new year. If you get really hurtin', just move up to canada. Lots of work around up here.

Good old Lazarus Long strikes again!!!

...personally I liked the line about writing. "Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of---but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards."
