Spotty cell Sig. We are at Joshua Tree Nat. Park. Nasty headwind last half of miles but calm here.

Second leg on that tank was much easier driving, fill up yielded just under 11 mpg. Sunday it's off to Bishop Ca. and 30f morning temps.
Planar heater will get a workout.

We love Bishop! Such a pretty area with mountains on either side. So much to explore! Where will you stay over there?

I get Hypermilers in prius's when I drive the DEV bus on road trips.. so then I slow down to 45 and stay there.. they even flash their lights at me(in the slow lane)... so i go minimum speed which is 40.. then they do pass.. and I speed back up LOL.

When I drove for a living, I had that happen to me in NJ. 3 am, I was headed for the GW bridge and no one on the road. I had this strange feeling that someone was too darned close. His lights finally peeked out under my DOT bar. I paused the cruise control and put both feet flat on the floor, I ended up getting down to 35 mph when he decided it was too slow.
