Just wired in 200w of solar. Still need to perm. mount the 2 panels. With the fridge on and XM rockin' I have 13.7v. 'Tis a sunny, clear day.

Monday will be our official 1st campout. Will be towing the car trailer, about 4200lb loaded with a Geo Tracker.

Scuffed then cleaned the surface of the mounting pads, used 3M VHB Tape 4930. No screws=no leaks, no roof maintenance.

Nice, I like your way of thinking.

Way to many folks on here forget we live in a age of adhesives.

Many times there is no need for mechanical fasteners. The adhesives work just as well or better than the mechanical fasteners.

I'll take two of those bags. Its the kind of bag I use when traveling anyway. The bird is icing on the cake!

More pics up. The Bird flew straight and is now fledged.

Performed very well on the hwy., stayed cool and fuel mileage will be determined later when I fill up. The trip was short but climbed some serious hills. Northbound=40-50 mph on some stretches, south = 20-35 on the steepest.
Trailer weighs about 1400, with car about 4300.

All my planning worked out well, comfortable and stayed cool/warm as needed.

We both showered and used the toilet without incident.

The TV/XM/AC/heat/hot water/window screens etc. all worked just fine.

The solar was not an issue, we had elec. hookup.

A successful first outing !!!!!!!!!!

The steepest grade on our trip was posted at 6%. I clocked it: 7 miles with 1500 feet elevation gain.
