Just finished my first three day round of chemo. What fun. Feeling OK for now but I also remember how the rat poison builds up. So...with that in mind, I'm gonna try and get as much done as possible during the next couple of weeks that I have off between sessions.

Need to make four "totes" to lift and remove the roof rack. Will hopefully post a few pix soon.

Have you ever tried medical cannabis? I know its not for everyone but some find it to help with some of the effects.
Sorry, man. I wish I lived nearby I'd love to come check out that bus.

In general, weed just never "worked" for me. Friends always tell me I never got the good stuff. I tell'em...Dude...I did three tours in Viet Nam. You don't need to lecture me on "good stuff"!

That said, I'm sure the new medical cannabis is a whole different animal and have heard nothing but good regarding how it helps with he side effects. But I'm guessing the good folks at VA hospital are probably not gonna write me a script for any.

And...anytime you happen to be in the neighborhood, you are most welcome to drop in bud.

Tango, not sure if you are aware of CBD oil. Maybe readup or ask some questions. A good buddy is going that route with similar issues. Pretty readily available here, nit sure in Texas.
Hang in there and don't overdo it zapping your energy.
Wishing you good days ahead man !

Thanks John...never heard of it but just now read up on it. Sounds pretty darned interesting. Seems the Brits have done a lot of work with it since the '70's and are convinced it helps beat cancer. Will follow up with my docs at VA just to see if they are even familiar with it.

Also checked availability and there are now several "outlets" for it here.

Tango, it's sure worth a shot. I wouldn't let the medical community in on it, just makes you feel normal with no side effects. Widely used here too.
I guess it wouldn't hurt to get their opinion but i would be on it if me.

Most interesting was the Brits' conclusion that this stuff can actually defeat certain types of cancer according to the med study I read. But...if it turns out to be a cheap and effective cure...we will no doubt never see it in the US except underground.

Did manage to put in about 3-4 hours at my shop today before I ran completely out of steam. But...I did get one of the four lifting jigs for my roof rack fabbed. Three more to go. Will try to get back on them again tomorrow.

I live in a state that is not legal. But my GP and cardiologist both would prescribe it if they could. We even put my 87 year old mom on it for here last days.

I'd love to take a trip up there to Houston, Don. Hopefully this is the year we start actually using and enjoying our bus.
Can't wait to see that Hobbit machine, sir!
