More Baby Steps...
Finally got my body panels back from the sandblaster. Was too cold & wet here for him to work outdoors for a few weeks but we got a break at last. I am replacing all the interior panels as well as the exterior from just below the windows down. I was in no rush to get them on until most of the underbody work was pretty much complete. Much easier dealing with tanks and axles and such with the sides open.
Anyhow, below are the driver side interior panels. They have two coats of white ceramic insulating paint on both sides plus a layer of the bubblewrap/mylar type insulation. The outer panels will have two coats of the ceramic paint but only on the inside. How well does it insulate? We'll see. But the example I saw here on an old tin roof convinced me it was mighty effective.
