5 window GMC gas isn’t bad idea like diesel 6.0?

I’m thinking of buying a five window GMC from 2004. It has a gas 6.0ls motor. Am I correct that it should be good and isn’t like it’s diesel brother?

Also what body style uses a smiley face on the roof line?

Corbeil used a smiley face as its logo. Here's one that I spotted a few months ago.

The 6L gas motor works fine, just has to rev more to produce power than the Duramax. I've had both, but generally prefer the Duramax power and mpg
