AC Help needed

Hey all, I have a 95 Short Bus with rear air. I need help figuring out how to get it working. Heres what I did so for:

1. Added 2 small cans of AC dye (red). Compressor under hood DOES come on. I searched everywhere...no leaks (dye) found anywhere.

2. Hooked up nitrogen bottle, pressurized to 150psi. Let it sit for over an hour...stayed at that pressure.

3. Removed nitro....took freon can off gauge, pulled trigger to release pressure. Added 1 can of 134A and held at 25 psi. I have NO cold air from either rear unit nor front. I did find that compressor only comes on when turning on rear ac fan...NOT front dash fan.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

When I recharged mine I had to use a vacuum pump to evacuate the system before adding back the refrigerant. My guess is that the nitrogen in the system is preventing a full recharge.

Your system should use a lot more than 1 can.

what were the readings on your ac gauge set initially?
2. Or.. are we to assume that the comp not start except with rear fan.
3. i would have hooked up my gauge set, and ran comp either normally or manual w' elect clutch n read what is going on.
4. when i ck ac system, i often wait entire day for leakdown test as small leak is hard to detect.
I normall dont use nitrogen
you may have some other restriction...
Actually is not totally to use your vac pump when working on ac system.. only on final charge as to me is a waste of time.
if you dont know how to work on ac systems, i am sure youtube has lots of videos.... I learned slow way around 1980 with r12, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, etc for hvac technician.
