Honestly if the seller willl take it back and refund your money, I would let it go unless that is the EXACT bus you want, otherwise you might be getting into a little money pit :/

My better half said maybe a blown head gasket or piston rings, burnt valves or even jumped timing? Hard to tell via the interwebs really. Any of those things or a combination of them plus whatever else might have been on the verge might have even triggered the muffler coming off. If they motor hasn't been rebuilt already, it sure needs to be now!
