Best time to buy in NW?

Hi there!
Began my bus hunt a month ago, was wondering if there is a good time to buy during the year? Is this there a time of year you there is a spike in shorties or just busses in general here in the northwest?
I Live up Oregon and find a lot of busses down in Florida and the east coast.

I think the next influx of PNW buses will be in the spring. I bought the leftovers from Beaverton in Oct. and they said more in the spring. I just bought a shorty Thurs. from Ky.

I find the deals from nov-feb. Less buses being sold than summer but less willing buyers.
A friend of mine got THE nicest bus of anyone I know up there in Renton WA. He paid like $4k and it was FULLY loaded. Check Public Surplus and GovDeals often and be ready when/if a deal presents itself.

I mentioned it in the other thread. I got you beat, I recall yours being $1675? This 02 i got for $1610. You're always saying how they are worth more and don't come around often, I couldn't let this one go at that price. I almost bid on the 04 also when it stalled around $1600. But your bus is a 420 bus as high as it is. Who knows, mine might be a rust bucket. It said "Rust consistent with age", hope it isn't too bad.

Like left overs from the school district? I think I wait until spring time 😝
When you buy them so far away, do you fly out and inspect them first? Or do you just take your chances on it running fine?
