There you go! All the forums I've read call for a max of 1150F. (Although I can't find where that started-its just all repeated). I back off at 1250. Thats usually around 12 lb psi. My main crime is climbing hills on cruise control + not noticing the EGT climbing.

I tell you what fellow skoolie member, these people that work for this company have their heads so far up there fecal matter shoots it is awsome.

I orderd my rv captain's chair early december picked it up 1 month later, (show in previous post) couple weeks later i get a phone call, telling me my chair is ready for pick up, confused look on my face & me being the honest guy i am said "I picked it up weeks ago." he said thank you for you honesty that was it.
So just a few days ago i get another email saying my chair is shipped & ( will call) .......:rolleye s:
If i get the phone call again you bet your ass i am picking it up.
Their is no way they could have charged my card twice i use a preload when buying anything online to prevent theft & fraud.

I did an Exhaust back pressure valve delete, I would have done it first time around but honestly I just assumed it was a waste gate actuator I have no idea why. but doing research on it I felt it was best to get rid of it, for obviously reasons better air flow & to drop the egt temps of normal operation. Since I don't have an intercooler I will do all I can. Just needed a new turbo pedestal to get rid of the big oil can & a freeze plug for the hole.

People keep telling me I am wasting my time & money & what I am doing is pointless & unnecessary because of all & all I am going to do to my project, but it is my dam time & money & ill spend it how ever I please.

That's right! Those people just wish it was theirs.

do you use the stock oil cooler? is it more efficient on the 7.3 / 444 than it is on the 6.0?

i there a visual way without tearing it down to tell if I have an EBP on my 444E? seems to be a lot of 'maybe' floating around the interwebs... I know I have some type of slow oil leak in that area.. looks like I get a little oil in my valley.. so trying to figure if i have an EBPV pedestal or not...

Thomas- that's right.!!

cadillackid I did leave the oil cooler alone i didn't feel the need to swap it, from all that i read on other forms the 6.0 system is a hell of a lot more complicated, & they are more prone to clogging. I'm not to sure how to tell if you do or not, but my pedestal had the large cylinder with a rod sticking out of it.
