Frochevy- you should.! the one I got is a little on the expensive side but it's something that will be used very often, me & my girlfriend started with a Colman double burner camp stove (still use it almost every day.) Added a mini insta pot pressure cooker to the arsenal on x-mas & now the ninja oven so we are upgrading & wideing our cooking options but remembering we are on limited space so we don't buy nothing that can't Tetris in. ✌️

IBlackJohn - I appreciate your comment, I did quit my job so the progress will be coming shortly..... Pizza is good anytime of the day. have been living a dream so I'm definitely absorbing it up as much as possible, the flying has been superb, I broke a personal altitude record & got to 6k feet in a thermal with no motor.
But I spoiled myself last x-mas & got a motor so my next overall personal record will be 17,999k feet hopefully ... 18k feet is class A. airspace so it's illigal to venture any further.

My outdoor work area, it's nice to finally be able to do some wood stuff in the cool moist air, it has been raining the last few days & the smell of moisture evaporating relaxes me well.
I 'm finally getting some work done now that I quit my commercial A/C job. It was way too much driving for me.
I just been doing light stuff like build some shelves, installed roof fan & succulent garden etc..... But the big stuff is coming soon

**The BIG project that is next on the list is my roof rack that I already got started on so pics & progress will come soon.

** I have (1) underside compartment that I need to make & finish for the passenger rear.

** Finish my battery/ storage compartment were old school district A/C condenser unit was....

**Lift & wheel spacers for the front & air ride for the rear.

** Finish up interior..

Just turn your transponder off, you'll be good

Also what area are you living in? That's a pretty legit view to wake up to/work in.

GuidoLyons- thanks it is a great investment for sure. I use it very often.

TheArgobus lol. I wish it was that easy. Class A. Airspace has alot of really really large airplanes (like a 747) going 500 mph + so I really don't wanna get hit by one, I wouldn't be able to move in time.
I live in southern California. Near soboba casino. It's called soboba flight park you should come down some time & check it out..

Aside from the 737s, there's a little thing called Hypoxia and it's usually about -15*C at 18,000.

Fly safe amigo.

The first time I jumped at Raeford (outside Fayetteville, NC), I told the pilot I wanted to do a hop-n-pop from 13500 ft. He told me to take it down to 10000 or so before pulling. Since I'd never had a pilot tell me that before, I asked why. He said "Cause the jets out of Fort Bragg are usually at about 12000 when they zip through here."

To this day I don't know if he was just yanking my chain or what.......but I opened at 8000.

I've always wondered about that. In the Air Force, anytime our cabin altitude exceeds 10,000 feet, we have to wear oxygen masks because of the decreased amount of oxygen. Yet skydivers spend a considerable amount of time above 10k, presumably with no oxygen maks, and they seem to remember to pull their cord no problem. The pilots too are flying their unpressurized aircraft above 10,000 feet no problem. What are the skydiving rules/regulations about altitude and oxygen requirements?

If you spend more than a minute at or above 15000 ft, you have to wear oxygen.

Most bigger dropzones (flying Porters, Otters, Skyvans, etc...) limit altitude to 13500 to stay under this ceiling. The smaller dropzones (mostly Cessnas) will generally only go to 10000 or 11000, because the added fuel/time costs of hauling 1000 pounds of skydiver from 10000 ft to 13-14000 ft are prohibitive to the bottom line.

IIRC private pilots are required to use oxy when above 12,500.

Decorating your rig as the Cannabus will make it a cop magnet in most states, even the legal ones. Be discreet on the outside.

Their is only one drop zone in so cal that will take you up to 13.5k in Santa Barbara C A I did a tandem their. We intermittent the mask on our face for a few minutes then jumped. No big deal.
I will definitely have oxygen with me when I attempted at it. Luckily my sister's are registered nurse. I have all medical supplies I need.

Artor I'm not worrying about it. They can pull me over all they want they aren't going to find anything illigal. My plate got denied anyways. Ill paint a massive marijuana leaf on the side & drive straight threw Utah no f**ks giving.

✌️
