She said that's pretty thick their Bud..!! The dreaded oil pan gasket OHH NOOOOoooo.!! It is going to be a good weekend. I am hoping to get this nasty oil leak taken care of, as well as put in my Heavy Duty Springs they are 1"5/8 taller than stock so my front end sag will be gone. & I have air lift bags for the rear coming in the mail should be here in a few days. ENJOY.!!!1

The Diary of the wimpy spring. Since i never changed out a spring i thought it was going to be a lil rough but it ended up being the most simple thing ever. The hardest part was getting my wheel off the passenger side. My impact wasent cuttin it so it took my biggest breaker bar a 4' pipe & my entire skinny lil ass jumping on the dam thing. . After unbolting the bottom portion of the front shock & removing the top clamp to the coil i put these clamps on, but it did not take me long to take them off after realizing i can just step on my hub to push it all down to pull spring out, & pop new one in place. The new springs are the 5k pound rated springs. With 1"5/8 lift. But since i know what to expect now im going to add those aluminum spacers to pull another 3+ like what the goatman did to his in his Diy thread. Definetly will need longer shocks.

springs definitelyarent as bad to do as everyong thinks.. esp when you let the suspension flex out fully... then theres a lot of things on these busses you'll find arent as bad as some people say they are...
congrats on the new springs... buy good quality shocks.. gabriel makes a nice adjustable shock so you can truly dial in the ride you want from your front suspension.

Thanks, the benefits of having the I-Beam setup. Gabriel A.!? never herd of them every time i snoop around on the internet for shocks absorbers Bilstein seems to always find it's way on my screen. Their is a company about an hr. away from my house called(Action Van Suspension.com) they specialize in lift kits for the Econoline series. but they are a little pricey tho. they sell the longer Bilstein's with their kit. not sure how they stack up to Gab's in quality.? I am going to pay (A.V.S) a visit & just snag the custom radius arms they have, wheel spacers & steering stabilizer than be done with the front
