Not to go off on a rant here.... but it's idiot bikers like that who give those of us who ride safely and responsibly a bad name. I have a 2016 HD Sportster that I've never had above 70 (and that on the highway) and I'm proud of that.

(I was gonna attach a picture of my bike but Photobucket is being stupid.)

As a level 1 burglar, Bilbo got a pony when he accompanied the level 60 dwarves on the Smaug the Dragon raid. Those powerlevelers probably invited him solely so he could trigger fellowship attacks for them.

With a 1200cc engine it most certainly will!

I usually have to pass the packs of harleys in town... on my moped!
Most harley folks I come across don't speed, or even come close. Maybe dragging hard parts isn't fun to some folks!?
I love how every so often, any thread can suddenly become good old bike banter. Good people!

I never was much fore the bike thing... I rode a friends.. some kind of kawasaki where the back wheel stuck way out back and it was lowered.. really LOUD!!.. I remember making the tire smoke when I took off... and then the nistake I made was i looked at the speedo after I raced and beat some kind of souped up corevette... 140...

I never really rode a motorcycle much after that... I started building 500-600 HP streetrods about that time... had a lot of fun squealing the tires and making tons of smoke.. never really did get into going real fast unless I was running 1/4;s.. i suppose my best car was the 79 Camaro I finally got fast enough to run a 10.99 in the 1/4 ..

I do know I was the only Air-Conditioned car that was running 10.99..

Catch can for the condensate so i could A/C in the staging lanes....

I havent taken the school Bus to the track yet...

wouldnt that be a cool and fun time? we all show up to a run-what-ya-brung night at the track in our school busses??

Count me in, bikes are not for everyone. Start our own drag strip at skoolie palooza. That would be cool.

As a side note...a friend here in Houston and I are about to begin a new speed project. He runs the Art Car Museum and we want to build and race the world's fastest Art Car...then try again for the world's fastest Art Motorcycle. This should be weird.

Sound very interesting, without weird life would be way to boring.

Good to see some pictures! All the reading I've been doing on here over the last several months has really got me itching to get a bus and get started. Now it's about to be winter though! Maybe I should migrate to Arizona like the old folks..

I figure that after Christmas I'll be doing about the same, heading to warmer climes. (Have to spend Christmas with my daughter, after all...)
