Catibus-The Tailgater

Hello Everyone
As with some other newbies, I’ve folllowed along others on this site to learn and get inspired. Thank you all for that. My hubby and I are from Kentucky and are huge Kentucky Wildcats fans. We’ve been tailgating for several years and I’ve always wanted to enhance the tailgating experience. So naturally I thought a Skoolie would be perfect to convert. So for the past couple of years I’ve been casually searching and just a few months ago I found the perfect fit! 1994, Chevy G30 Ceiling height is 6’6” so it’s perfect! Low miles, ready to start!!

The first step for us was removing the old flooring.

Next step was cleaning the floor, welding some reinforcement plates in areas where the floor was weak, and plugging the holes.

The next step was brushing on the bed liner coating before building the subfloor

Don't listen to him Sherry.....he's a problem solver AND an artiste, which is exactly the type of person I want to learn from.

This looks awesome! I’ll get some more done now that mine is back from the painter. What are your plans for yours?
