no worries. My fault showing a rare plane in the background. But ending with a story about a dead girl was too much off-topic for my liking.

Anyway, thread will be dead for some time as I am back in Germany and bus will have to wait for the next trip across the pond...

so, I am back in the States for a short vacation. Got on the bus again yesterday. Welded in a big panel where the floor was cut. Started building the floor. Nothing fancy, I am just following what I was reading on this site so far.

it rained today. In a way that was a good thing. Water was pouring out of the ribs everywhere, needed to remove some of the stuff I had build yesterday. Big mistake but I did never check the roof. Well, big holes in it, no wonder way I had some waterfalls inside.

So sealed the roof today...

one good week into the build. I am amazed how much slower than planned things are moving. But working alone makes things just a bit inefficient sometimes. Quite nearby there is a very nice size Ward/GMC short bus which sits there since a few years, could be probably acquired. But I am again happy I did chose such a small project, anything bigger would be undoable as a vacation-only project.

So this is where I will leave the bus sitting until next time. I have not build the closet/storage behind the driver seat and the kitchen area is just a countertop sitting on a frame. I'll need to get the sink and the stove before finishing that one. The bed is a twin size which can be extended into a queen.

I will be using the wheel chair lift doors as service doors for the kitchen. As such I can change water or propane with easy access from outside.
