E450 programmer/tuner

is anyone running a tuner/programmer? on the e450 7.3

Don't even think of it until you put an egt gauge on it. You can turn up the wick on trucks-but the van have no intercooler. I have to roll out of it on big hills when the egt gets to 1250*. Adding more fuel is going to make more heat.

you should leave tuner out of the description. those gadgets are not tuners. they flash the ecm with pre-programmed fuel tables. PERIOD!

imho, if ya cant really tune an engine, you should leave it alone.

I'm late to the party but in case anyone is following this thread -- I recommend dp-tuner[.]com for the 7.3. Endless options that can dramatically improve performance safely.

Been running one of Jody's tunes in my 7.3 F350 for about 10 years. Best single mod I ever did to that truck. Probably 40% more torque, much smoother running, and transmission functions SO much better.

I'm surprised more people haven't found him. His product is incredible for the 7.3.
