Hot Shot's Secret P040464Z Diesel Extreme Clean and Boost - 64 fl. oz.

Clean out the tank, lines and injectors
Remove free water from the system
Stabilize fuel, boost cetane
Lubricate the fuel pump and injectors
Coat the tank and lines with a rust and corrosion inhibitor

I wonder if that stuff cures cancer as well?

As long as the weather permits we're heading out to do some welding on both buses this weekend.
And should have the WC door seal ordered soon.

Some sort of light. Mine didn't come with the light, but it came with the impression left from it in the roof!
Still, these are GREAT little shorties!

Gerald at Midwest is getting our seal ordered and we now have a "Business account" with them so we can more easily order parts next time.

TO ANYONE WITH THIS TYPE WC DOOR-
This seal is a rare, obscure bit of unobtainium. Order one while there's still somewhere to get em, or figure out how to rebuild and reseal the door.
I asked if I could save any money buying two or three but he said no.
At least the elusive wc door seal still exists out there, though!
Having restored some old cars before, this seal fiasco makes me think buses are gonna be a huge PITA to find parts for in the future. Odd, coach-specific parts may be a real headache one day.
Heading out with eddie the welder to do some more stitch welds on the big RYO bus and we're also gonna patch the couple lil spots of rust on this shorty.
Finally a weekend to work on buses after mowing a thousand yards!

yes!!! BUS WORK!! I love weekends like that.. im lucky I got my transmission installed when I did.. its done nothing but rain here the last couple weeks.. like solid hours and hours of rain at a time.. and st pete doesnt look much better so i havent gone there lately..

I think with busses they arent restricted to the same standards as car makers.. or if they are.. , many less body specific bus parts are manufactured than are for cars.. im guessing door seals dont often get replaced.. - judging from the amount of water leaks in school busses by the time we all get them...

engines, suspensions, transmissions, windows, and the like are used by muktiple manufacturers and likely higher replacement quantities so they make those parts longer..

ie good luck finding A/C dash vents for a 1970 ford Van.. but easy to find engine parts..
