Oh, and one of those 'small world' things --

I've got the bus at my aunt's property while I do the demo. My cousin stopped by today (I don't see him that often)....turns out he's the second-shift service manager at the International dealership one town over. So Monday he's going to get me the complete build sheet for my bus.

And he also "has a tire guy", so we're gonna find out just how tall of a tire I can cram under these wheelwells.

Will definitely shoot for sometime in 2018.

Or you Floridians could caravan north to the Carolinas.

Pretty sure you can get some 10R's under there with no problem.

Wonder if they make a 24.5" wheel with my bolt pattern? Maybe try the 'bigger wheel-shorter tire' route.

Don
Bigger tires will probably give a better ride.
But 24.5's will fit, you just need the right ones for your hubs and offset.

Cool.
Hope to see you there.
Hope to be the blacksmith there next year but won't know until around may.
Wasn't chosen the last two years cause I only had stuff for show and a working setup to see the process and others only had pieces for sale.
Trying to pair with a seller so I can show what it takes to make a piece?
Or just forget it and enjoy the scotch barrels
