Ford E450 Fiberglass Shuttle

I have the interior all opened up and now seems like a good time to address the roof deck.

I’ve been reading post after post and googling til my brain hurts and I can’t find anyone who has put a roof deck on their all fiberglass body shuttle.

Any tips?

My idea is to cut through roof and weld to wall/roof supports and seal real well around “legs”.

You should be able to just drill the roof supports and bolt the rack/deck to the roof supports... however my goshen's body framing is 1" square tubing. Need to pay attention to how much weight you put up there. The body framing is fairly sturdy.. but I wouldn't want a lot of weight up there.
