Re: Hello From SLC Utah

That's good to know. We reinstalled the front step railing, making it easier for me to get in. When I found out the last PO had installed the passenger seat with the wrong bolts, thinking of safety I removed the front seat and will use it in the driver side. It has power 6 way and that will make it easier to handle the long trips.

Now to figure out why the dome lights don't work.

Start with the simple things first, bulb?, fuse?, voltage at light? ground? trace wires for open...etc

Thanks for the tip. I will check the things that are easy first. The bulbs test OK but no voltage at the lights. So the fuse is next.

Keith on my bus the domes are wired into the little console above your head in the drivers seat. In my bus I have a switch called "master" and "pass dome" and both have to be in the on position for my domes to work. The dome above the driver door functions with the headlamp switch. Im probably just stating the obvious lol, but we do have the same bus and maybe we are wired the same.

Jeremy thanks for the info. I don't have a master switch. Maybe that's why it doesn't work. I will look closer into the box and find out what is going on.

I have been reading your topic since I saw your bus was the same as mine. Seems there many ways to customize these buses.

Thanks for the info, but too late. On Sunday we pulled the seat and replaced it with a 6-way power seat. Now the guys at the dump needs to learn the "Gangsta Lean," while they have coffee.

Re: Hello From SLC Utah

Found the electrical box today it sure has a lot of stuff in there. LOL Just two fusses to look at. Found that all of the wires are numbered and seems they have used the same numbered wires for only what the number is for. Found the problem with the dome lights, so they work now. (Well, will be as soon as I get some LEDs off of the internet.)

Here is the box that was used for my bus. Remember the bus only had seating for 10 people.

It's off to the internet for lights... I'll keep you informed as we progress.

jgries, you can see in the pic there is a paper folded. I haven't looked at it but will. If it is something you may want, send me a PM and I can email you a copy.

Re: Hello From SLC Utah

I have a hard time seeing what is behind me when I want to back up. I have installed a B/U camera and Monitor to help. Here are some pics of it.

This is the monitor on the windshield. It doubles as a mirror and a monitor. If you look you will see the neighbors house and in the left side the camera that took the picture.

I will keep on keeping on...

Hey BG --- I like the camera with the monitor in the mirror. Very cool. Where did you find it?
