It is a beauty. I'm curious as to the cost of your bus. Do post more pics and your progress!

Hey guys here's an update. This bus is actually the sister bus of my original photos and was in much better shape. I got the bus home, made a 4 hour trip from downstate ny to my shop in syracuse the bus ran super strong and had no issues. My brother in law and I tore the seats out which wasn't to much of a task (we did torche a couple bolts off) hopefully this week I'll be able to start tearing the floor up and getting the roof painted. The blue paint is in surprisingly good shape, I buffed a section of it and it really shined.

We'll jean, I got super lucky and bought this from a prep school that is essentially so rich that they were going to scrap this instead of sell it and my brother in law (whose father is the head maintenance guy at this school) got it for me for $400

I haven't time this week to make any progress on the bus, I'm doing a build out on my second location of my coffee shop and I'm opening in a couple days. The bus has come in handy for hauling stuff around. Here's some pics of the new shop, I'm super happy on how it's looking (especially cause I did all the build out and furniture building)

And here are my two scooters I plan on toting around in or on the bus

Feel free to update the SCOOTERS RULE thread!
BEAUTIFUL scoots, I really love Vespas.
Is that stella a 2 stroke? and has it been pretty reliable?
I'd be interested in a Stella but I'd like to see one someones put a lot of miles on.

MMMMmmmm I love coffee. Just finished my evening cup. Guatemalan stuff, single origin.

Hey cb, the Stella is a 2 stroke and has been super reliable. I've driven it from syracuse to boston and providence and back and another trip to nyc. Never had any issues with it other regular maintenance and replace some.rubber bits. The other is a 78 small frame that is a hot rod bike...big bore kit, big pipe and carb, for a vespa it really screams.

Small frame Vespas are my favorite. Glad the Stella is working well.
I'll have to get one sooner or later.

Real nice.

As a fellow scooter owner, I like yours as well. Really nice condition.

I always love it when people combine scooters with buses. Great mix.

Hey everyone, been a little sidelined as I had shoulder surgery about 2 and a half weeks ago. I did have some spare time to strip a couple seats today ( no scrapyard will take them with the upholstery). What a pain it is to strip these. I just used a utility knife and some bull nose pliers, took about 25 min a seat. 2 down 4 to go.

It's been too long! Work obligations and healing from shoulder surgery has taken up WAY more time than I expected. Really happy that we got to put time into the bus this past weekend and get motivated to get this rig usable asap.

Headed to my workshop to get after it.

Buzzing out the last of the seat things?

Holes patched and floor heater gone

Insulation and floor frame installed

New subfloor front

New subfloor back
