BGA buys buses at auction, drives them to Florida, sometimes gives them a bath, and then sells them at a huge profit. I encourage people to save thousands by buying from the auctions themselves.

With that said, there are exceptions. I wrote a little bit about it here. https://wanderlounge.net/how-much-sh...ould-i-buy-it/

That's been my problem most of the time. Can't buy anything at auction always get out bid.

We're looking to buy before September... Id love one of these.
Guess I need my brother in Florida to look for me... Easier said than done.

That's what I'd love to find but there doesn't seem to be much market near Nashville for transit that isn't way more expensive. Or maybe shuttle buses, but again, rare. Maybe I just suck at looking i dunno.

Why do we hate BGA?
Has 300K miles on it.

The bus I linked was very much not recommending to buy that particular one, just showing what a short TC looked like.

Yeah, I just want one in that style, not that specific one. 500k miles is a bit too much for me hahah.

heck even searching now, Nothing exists within 300 miles of here that isn't a rip off or run to hell and falling apart.

I have a similar bus to Haz.Matt. a 29ft International CE200 8 window. I am building it out for trips for my family of 4 sometimes 5 people. My search took me over 7 months. https://www.publicsurplus.com/sms/au...ew?auc=2048134

Not a lot of buses on the 2 main auction sites right now.

https://www.publicsurplus.com/sms/br...aucs?catid=402
https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?f...=&category=94H

keep up the search. you will find the right one!

I bought my bus from Greg almost 7 years ago. I've only had a little brake work and and one tire come apart in 6 years and 8 months . He advertises the best used busses not the cheapest ones. If you buy from him you will be getting a bus that has ben gone over with a fine tooth co. He chooses the busses he buys knowing that he is going to drive it from where ever it is back to Hudson FL. and in my case back to Tennessee, to deliver it. Read all the nightmares in this blog and see how many start with BGA!

They're sheisters capitalizing on folks unaware of what buses can be bought for outside their stealership.

Maybe just bid more instead of paying 3-10 times the price at a dealer.

I got a real nice bus in KY. And the nicest bus I've owned was $1625 on Public Surplus- it was in Northwest GA.
Got a real nice shorty from Aurora CO a few years back. Then a decent 2004 IC shorty with 466/2000 but it was a mechanical dud upon getting it home.

Paid less for all 5 buses I've owned than one bus from a dealer costs.
