Stopped in Rayne, La. Cool cemetary way different than Fl's. Now about an hour from San Antonio. My steering box seal leak is irritating but I'm not really losing much fluid. Floors a bit hot. Still wonder if eliminating the two giant mufflers would have helped cool it down under there

I love the Texas rest stops where you can stay all night. About five hundred miles left in Texas

In WA state they limit the stay to 8 hours and you can't camp or have a fire.

I notice alot of them say you cant have a fire, and most dont have more than a picnic table, but I see Campers all the time parked amongst the Truck spaces.

Great web site. Mostly accurate. Pull overs in texas have grills and pavillions in 2 out of 2 so far. Bathroom in only one. Rest areas are nice.

Sweet Capt!
We spent the night in the Albuquerque Walmart on Carlile parking lot. Half dozen campers there. Security was rousting us out at 6am. On the road again headed to Farmington.
