The base of the bunk bed couch is pretty much done. The back of the couch will swing up to form another bed. I still have to figure out exactly how strong the frame of that will be.

I'm getting out to sand the body a little bit after work each night. Not going to try and get all the Dents & Dings out. I figure I have another week of nights to finish the sanding and a couple days at masking. Decided I have to get the outside paint done before it gets cold here.

Shameful the conversion van bench didnt work out. Eager to see what you cook up. Been looking for a gm mini bus to start my own conversion, so you may hear a question or two from me haha.
Great work, keep sharing your progress!

What to do with my light holes? I might block them off and just Mount some Led pod lights up there that I can have aimed down and to the side for light when camping.

Any white lights up that high will just need to be covered when on the road. DOT has regs on where what lights can go.

Geeze louise, you may very well be able to do the bus with what... five cans? cant beat that. Like the Scotsman always used to say "It's not a piano Mr G. Good enough for goverment work."

Oh AND ... "It looks good from my house."

it looks like the 225 / 75 R16 tires that were on the bus have been rubbing in the back. I think I may have to go with 215 / 85 R16 tires to make it fit. They are a hair taller and a hair skinnier than the 225's.

Bad luck. Used my last can to touch up the hood and drivers side and the can turned out to be bad...darker shade of blue. So i still need to finish drivers side and back.
