Re: Putter's Bus

WOW
the handicap lift is freaking heavy. Had a friend help me with getting it out. My cousin is in a wheel chair so he is going to put it on his dock, that way he can lower himself in the water at the lake. It looks so much bigger with everything out of the bus. If I just could just settle on a floorplan.

Re: Putter's Bus

Nothing like the fresh smell of plywood in the bus, going to look for laminate flooring tommorrow.
Found a unit from a commercial airplane I believe. It has a on demand hot water heater and a sink/fauset setup with stainless counter with 4 compartments above it.
app 48"x 62"x25". I can get it for $150. I dont think its bad at all as I can use it for a cabinet and counter if I dont want to put in a water tank. Would install a small 5 gal water jug for grey water if I do. It looks cool though.

Starting tinting windows today, not as easy as it looks.

Re: Putter's Bus

Finally decided upon a floor plan. Going with horseshoe shaped couch seat in the back. Like Cockabus. It will be somewhat smaller with it being a shortie.
Got 2x2s ran on the walls today with help from my 14 yr old nephew. Started cutting out the support braces for the bench seating. Have to run wiring and insulate before I can run the wall covering. Finally some progress.
pics will follow in a few days

Re: Putter's Bus

The only thing about a shortie I do not like is....no room to work. It is hot as hell, extension cord failed, had to fix it. Busted my butt, wet knees on laminate floor does not mix. Glad no camera around. Got the walls insulated and the beaded plywood on the walls. Glad I got to vent there. tks
Anyway, as someone on this forum says, no pics it didnt happen. heres a few.

Re: Putter's Bus

got an 8' and a 4' countertop with cabinets underneath going, also got the heater area covered up. Still need to cut access areas out of this so I can put in converter and panel fpr switches. Pics to follow tommorrow, now maybe I can speed things up. Talladega is around the corner....
