Right now I get 55 with the engine at ~2500
That ratio would be perfect for Sandi's bus.

Any interest in it? I believe Sandi is in Florida? What rear axle does it have? Mine's an N175 I think (and it is my understanding the N190 will interchange).

You'd have to ask Sandi.

On the engine hoist, call around and ask for a BlueBird hoist. They trailer behind your car and go 10' high. They run a few grand, so rent it for $50

You want the Tip Tow 10

Cool. That looks like it could be very useful, if not a bit overkill.
I've got a buddy who has 2 of the harbor freight engine lifts. I'm thinking i could ratchet strap one to a trailer for more height. A redneck solution, but would cost me nothing. Can't weight more than my mower!

fixed! sorry about that i was on an install in nashville the last 10 days. and it was a big one!!

im thinking a 3.90 or 3.73 would be perfect in mine.. id like to go up to a 245/70 tire just for a little better ride ayt some point so may be a 3.90 or 4.11..

I have a 3.54 now.. cant think of anyone who would want to go that low.. how do I figure out the exacty axle I have? try and read its tag?

yeah, check for the axle tag.
How much would a hub/wheel swap cost? That thing would be pretty amazing with some 10R's or some 295/75's.

alot of changes to swap hubs.. going much bigger wheels is going to affect the brakes too, possibly even the spindles.. if I keep the small rotors and go to much larger diameter wheel / tire I run the risk of being brake deficient.

I could end up into wheels / hubs / spindles / rotors / calipers / tires.

looking at measurements i might be able to get a 265/70 on my current rims, ill talk to a tire guy again about it.. I dont know what the ramifications of a wide footprint are just to gain height.. will a wider footprint cause me wandering issues on the highway or does it increase ride quality in general?

id want to gear up to at least 4.11 if I want with a 265 tire

even with a 4.78 rear and a 34" (the 265)tire the RPM calc says id be at 1875 RPM in 6th gear at 65 MPH...
