I'll get in touch with the school contact today and get the wire transfer taken care of.
Then I can start actually figuring out the logistics. I've got a lot to get done this week!!!

Can't wait to get this lil bus home and get it ready to paint!

im working on my schedule today.. Redbyrd is going in to get a wheel bearing fixed and i found a screw in a drive tire..

my one (crappy) roomate goes to court today to see if his probation gets revoked.. if so then life is easuy for me cause he stays in jail..

Txstreetman is swapping a tranny in houston in his bus this weekend, id love to be there for that, I need a road trip outta here for sure..

so after today i should know whether i can help get your bus back to FL.. we might need some help from the fine Houston skoolie folk to make the logistics work.

I cant wait to see your new bus! this thing looks to be **THE** shortie we all want!

Hope both of you guys can manage a pass through Houston while you're in the neighborhood. Let us know if you can and we'll roll out the carpet.

Good to find out before any long trips. Should be much kinder to the front rubber...not to mention better handling.

Sending the wire transfer tomorrow, it will take a day or two to clear and then the bus will be available.
I still need to call the lady at the school district to ask her if I can take an extra day or two and about the paperwork.

This bus has something I don't see a ton of- Mixed wheel sizes. 19.5's in front and 22.5's with lowpro's in the rear.
I forgot to ask them about the rear end, but I'll bet its geared on the higher side due to the smaller tires and wheels.
Looks like 22.5's would fit on the front just fine. If there's room for them, a set of 10R's or something similarly sized all around would make it a dream out on the interstate, and would give me better ground clearance for getting up John's driveway.

I feel your pain.

My $49 state inspection sticker wound (intentional pun) up costing me $2.6k, not in any small part due to two screwed king pins...

Much better fortune to you!

There are no vehicle inspections in Oklahoma, for private vehicles. They didn't throw out all the laws though, it still has to be roadworthy.

Judging from what I see, the term "roadworthy" is fairly liberally interpreted by some.
