Wearing a kilt is awesome. I even got out my great grandad's monogrammed Morrison cufflinks and my mom wore a Morrison tartan sash.
Kubla drove me and the groomsmen over in my shorty. WanderWoman did the ceremony. Both took some great pics too.

No plaid on the bus- yet. But it will have our tartan for the curtains and seats for sure.
Such a fun and wonderful day!!! Thanks for letting me be part of it <3

Welcome back Sunshine. I thought it was very clever of you to get yourself "banded" right b4 your wedding, just so you could concentrate one the jobs at hand. I see that you even got Shawn to pose with the Nuke bus, just to make your return more memorable. (Hey Shawn)
Really been sortta boring around these parts, even with all the new members. I' still kickin tires, while I make plans to move back up to the DFW area.

Anyway..........Good to see you so happy!

Shaun REALLY likes you... and your truck!
He also loves the Nuke bus.

I've been having fun checking out how its put together. I like the Cummins 5.9, and this is the most time I've spent with one.

congrats on the nuptials. I went back and read your thread. I remember seeing this bus for sale last year. I really liked it. I am still on the hunt for my first bus (6 months and counting) got a high bid on an 8 window 2004 IC T444e hydro brakes, not my ideal set up but I need something.

God, small town America is going to hell in a bucket.
So the city of Leesburg FL are pretty much as corrupt as it gets. I was fined and harassed for parking a school bus on MY OWN COMMERCIAL LOT. A construction company with ties to city hall have a dumpster, a boom truck, several vans, and lots of gargage sitting on MY lot and the city don't seem to care about that.

Asses to kick...

I'd have some fun with that. Take pictures tho!!

Go down to a rental center and get some fencing; cage all of their $hit and padlock it. The other option which I doubt you could get to happen is call a tow truck and have their $hit towed... preferably to another county.

Give me a ticket and leave your stuff on my property? Oh, I don't think so.

Got the construction co to remove their vehicles. There's a rental boom lift that is still there that no one's claiming. We called the rental co and they've been notified its getting towed and impounded if its not gone tomorrow. Same with the construction dumpster.
According the law here the farthest I can have anyone's vehicle towed is 15 miles.
No parking, No trespassing, and private property signage is up and has been, so they're clearly in the wrong parking their stuff there.
Mom went to the city building dept and they won't issue a permit for a fence because the city illegally uses our land for "leesburg bike fest" every year. They're saying our property is "historic" and that we can't just put up a fence. They have to approve it. Even though the city's lot next door and the construction company next door both have full fences.

Corruption.

I wanna fence it in and offer free parking/storage for buses lol.

They will pay for the wall!! Oh, I mean fence. Lol

That's kind of a load of bull, but doesn't shock me at all. It's nuts that people can stop you from doing something on your own land. Just like some HOA's, where you have to ask permission to put a shed in your backyard. That's what I'm looking forward to about new Mexico. We got 20 acres in the desert and can do whatever the he'll we want. Just a limit to number of permanent homes that can be built I believe. Our work around is empty bus shells, since it could be considered a vehicle and not a permanent house, and he's building an earth ship and says he will just connect every new area he wants to build with a hallway so it's still considered 1 structure. A bus, a greenhouse, and the earthship will all be connected

If you ever do have a spot for skoolies, I'll come hang out for a bit.

I tried something similar and was told I'd have to pay $2500 per day and register as a "vendor".
Its a mafia-like group running this city, man.

Nope, but we've owned the land since 1908, before the city was even founded!

Put up a sign

Free camping
Homeless welcome

After the ad on Craigslist and a couple flyers I'm sure the city will notice.

Just trying to help the less fortunate with the bit of property they are keeping you from using in a more productive maner
