Probably about 50% more money than you've got.. That's the way it goes with me anyway.

It'll be worth it in the dependability factor, but this may sting at first.

YEah, I mean- I've got a rough idea based on what I can find out about this.

No hard limits. You give them all your money and then top things off with a credit card.

It sounds like a good diesel shop, but I still predict it's going to sting. I'm still wondering if the windex coolant was the real culprit.

I have a theory. I think the front cover started to leak and they did that "stop leak" thing with the packets of sealant. They then changed it over from the red coolant to some fancy blue stuff from their local Fleetguard supplier.
They then dumped it realizing that it was just a bandaid repair and that it would take thousands to actually fix the issue.
Only a theory.

Kind of like I'm starting to think they dumped my bus on the market because they knew the transmission was not going to last.

You got to pay to play. And then if you switch buses it starts all over again.

Yeah, at least this time around I got THE bus I wanted.
I'm willing to spend the $$ to play, I just wasn't quite prepared to spend 4-6 grand on it so soon!

It's not unusual for a school district to dump a bus that has become problematic.

It is very unusual for a school district to attempt to hide an issue like that, and dupe a buyer.
