He wasn't a forum member and didn't get any of the extras I'd offered on here.
But the duck- he was never in jeopardy. He's MINE!
A 444/545 bus just isn't worthy of the duck, and my FE doesn't have a hood.
A shorty with a stout drivetrain was what the duck and I needed.
First on the list for this bus are the duck and paint job.

hey now i drove 11000 miles on the 444/545 combo before i decided I needed to update the 545 piece..
that said, i cranked up the DT360 this morning and I do love that DT sound and feel!.. the DT-466 / AD2500 defimnitely is deserving of the duck right on the center of the road!!! his eyes need to light up red! or flames come out of his beak.

I may paint the eyes and the end of the cigar in a red color.
Its gonna need Alcoa's sooner or later. And a big chrome exhaust.

Well- the bus is paid for.
LOL we had to bust out some emergency penny rolls to pay for the transfer fee at the bank.
Just paid every cent we had for this bus. Well- checks are still coming in, but for the day we're SPENT lol.

He said the penny rolls were spent. And I can relate. Prepping for thanksgiving is each ones problem.
I wish ECCB was headed this way so I could help out but he is heading to my homeland where I want to be.
I figure if I jumped on board someone else's boat to get me to Texas then my wife and kids would hunt me down?
Least we'd all be where we came from and want to be if they did?
ECCB you gotta start rolling a few penny rolls, get the bus home, and start Rolling another one.
I am more partial to fat and long to start with but sometimes I wish I had a shortie to run around town with?
SKOOLIE that is!

So- being the amazing human being that he is, Chris is going to be in Tx this coming weekend and may drive my bus to FL.
Anyone in the Cleveland/Houston region got a place he can stash his bus for a few days?

Well dang! On any other weekend there would be tons of free parking outside my art studios...but this is the weekend of our biggest show of the year and the area will be packed. It is time for the "ArtCrawl". The 25th annual actually and should be a real blast. Anyone who is or will be in the area is invited. Art, music, free beer, free wine. Bring it!
Hardy & Nance Studios. 902 Hardy Street in Houston near downtown.
Meanwhile...when and how long will you need a space Christopher? I can check around.

My husband wants to swap out the 545 for a 2000. Do you have a thread for your own swap?
