Here are some photos of my short bus conversion. Had her for about 5 months now and am really enjoying things. Been in a St. Paddys day parade, made a few road trips and ready for football season to start.
I am looking to hook up some power to the inside to use while camping with the engine off. I have a small inverter for use while driving, but was wondering what the best (and cheapest) way to get power for a TV/small appliances would be while at rest.
for on demand would probably be a small genset. can probably make a tool box for it to into under the skirting on the bus. probably cheapest to. Other alternative is solar pannels and deep cycle batteries with an inverter.
I'd like to be able to power a 20-27" flat screen TV for periods of about 4 hours and also be able to power a fan overnight. I rented a Honda eu2000 generator for an outing earlier this year and it was awesome...super quiet...but they run about 900 bucks so that isn't really an option.
