Shuttle bus

Hey guys- I have been shopping around recently for a shuttle bus and I thought I found a good deal.

2003 Ford E-450 Shuttle Bus
7.3L V-8 Power Stroke Turbo Diesel
Automatic w/OD
Mileage:126,916 Miles
Asking Price $21,000

However after looking around on this forum it seems people have been able to find something comparable for much less. If anyone knows of a good deal in the tri state area please let me know! Help is greatly appreciated. 7.3 diesel is a must

Yea-thats about $18k or so too much.
Which tri state area are you talking about?

Are you looking for a turn-key ready to roll cross country bus-or cheap but repairable?

A couple of good places to look:
Airports-look in the back lot of shuttle services.-thats what mine was in its former life.
Cities-I know of a parking lot in Middletown ct (pop maybe 50k) that has about 30. Not sure how many are older out of service units.
Senior services. Another big user of shuttles.
For example purposes-mine is a '96-I picked it up with 220k on it for $1800 off Craigslist. It took maybe $1000 of "derfered service" to get caught up on to make it a reliable piece. I know Roach711 paid about the same.

Where are you? Here's one in San Diego (even tho it says LA)

2006 Ford E450 Shuttle bus 24 passenger Krystal Koach

I just bought a Ford E450, 97 w/ 7.3 diesel,for under $5k. Lots of miles, but seems solid.

Good luck!

Oops.
Just realized tri-state is opposite coast/corner of country... But if you want to shop and thaw out, it's been sunny & warm here!
