Taking a poll on color and theme for my mini bird

Hi All,

I'm trying to decide between a log cabin theme (brown body with a hunter green galvanized roof) or a steampunk/industrial theme (wine body speckled with black, galvanized roof, and chrome hubs)

The interior is going to be an antique furniture theme with a wood-burning stove.

Any ideas?

I personally like the steam punk idea.. Gives options for a lot of creativity with plumbing, fixtures and theme throughout inside of bus as well. I think of rat rod vs steampunk for exterior fixtures and stuff. Lantern porch lights, galvanized pipe handles near door etc...

Have fun!

I like the Steampunk idea as well.

Copper counters! Or not...I've seen that overdone, but bits of copper here and there are beautiful with the wine color you mentioned.

Heavy damask can help keep the window areas warm too.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I kind of have gone that way(as far as I can get away with, wifey likes more beachy)

The conduit in the bedroom area is all painted "copper" color and the joints, elbows etc are fire engine red,

I used gold, copper etc paint on outside lighting fixtures (home style) and the chandelier

of course the spiral staircase on the back (need to finish this winter) is a "different look"

Mcgyver was steampunk before it was cool also

in the Appalachian region it is also called red neck engineering

remember this: you might be a red neck if your bus is half the size of your house
