Let this be a lesson to us fellow skoolies to back up our threads on other forums.

Last spring my "Natsters Haul All" thread was deleted from skoolie.net by a mod along with over 700 of my posts. Many were posts containing technical info that took hours to post. The mod that did this is no longer here.

Thankfully, I also had it posted on pirate 4x4 so none of the content in my thread was lost.

The personal comments from other member did get lost for forever.

Pirate 4x4 has a section for tow rigs and motor homes.

Wait -- can YOU see my posts in this topic? I only see all of the replies that remain, but none of my posts. Maybe it's a permission issue with what I can see. Please let me know so I can ask the admins for the proper correction.

Great idea, and I do actually have screen caps of all this topic, I forgot that I had saved them. But if the topic can easily be regenerated the way it was I would prefer that.

OK, I think dond needs to fix the exhaust in his Bluebird, some of the fumes must be getting to his head.

Argh, WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?! I just posted the archived pages of all the original posts, and now THOSE ARE GONE TOO?

This site sucks. Seriously. The community is great, but whoever is running the tech side of things needs some lessons.

Yeah, sold my bus, moved to Shanghai, then Australia, now I am in the tail end of a three-year renovation here in Portland again.

Not cool. Harsh words.

Next time you might want to look around, and contact a few people before making bold statements like that.

I hope your issues get fixed.

Back up your build on another site like pirate 4x4. That is the best way to back up your thread.

An admin must have moved my posts over there, but never bothered to tell me.

I have created and run several forums... so I am not just griping ignorantly -- but it sounds like there is new admin, so hopefully things will improve.

Thanks to bansil for bringing them back to this topic.
