Roach711, so neat and clean and safe. You have done a very professional job. I still envy you that flooring material.

Oh well, might as well drive Florence to the scrapper. The Roach Motel is the keeper.

Thanx for the kind words everyone, but like I said before, it's the oak plywood that makes everyone ooh and ahh.The carpentry is very simple. What I did here is easy compared to the cutting and pasting Tango and Jack are doing to their oldies, and Browncrown, your rig has long been the gold standard on this board.

Re: The Roach Motel

Awesome as usual,
Can you take some pics of the inside to show whole area?
It seems like you have more room than me

Re: The Roach Motel

It's that big ass cat of yours that's taking up all the space. We have the brown version of your cat, complete with the mitts and a ton of fur. We've had cats pretty much all our lives but I still haven't figured out what they're good for.

I'll post up some pics tonite.

Re: The Roach Motel

By popular request, here's a shot of Roachie from front to back. The wide angle lens makes it look a lot longer than it is. The total aisle length is around 10 feet.

And back to front:

The bathroom area from up on the bed

Plus a detail shot of the cooler hold-down

Lastly, a shot of my big ass cat for scale. Bansil - You and I should get our cats together for a House Cat Deathmatch. Calvin's a Detroit cat and has no fear (no sense either but that sorta goes along with the whole Detroit thing).

Re: The Roach Motel

OKAY IT'S ON!
Gizmo is known for bailling off the top of the gazebo and catching humming birds ..........then she realizes...crap it's 10 ft to the ground...she hasn't lost a bird yet...it really sounds baaddd when she hits the earth tho'

That is an amazing use of space .......... 10 feet? wow how tall is it? I assume ~ 8ft wide

Most excellent job

Re: The Roach Motel

If memory serves we had 16' 6" from the driver's seat back to the rear wall, 7' 6" wide and about 6' 8" tall inside with everything stripped out. The bed takes up 6' of that length. We originally wanted a 21' bus but I couldn't fit in the shower and any decent amount of storage so we went to the 24 footer.

Gizmo would be the odds on favorite in this match. Calvin is a clawless wonder and has a hard time getting out of his own way these days. If he saw Gizmo up on your gazebo I'm sure he'd be horrified and say "Oh HELL no!
