Re: The uprising of the "Green Machine"

my father has a "micro brake" on his 79 gmc 1 ton crane truck and his is a lever you move left or right. and the silly thing came on once as he was going down the highway. not full on but slightly little by little and anyhow, it heated up the brakes to the point it blew out the inside duals, he pulled over and luckily a passer by gave him a huge fire extinguisher to put out the fire of the 2 tires burning. He was also towing our 74 f350 that only has about 22k miles on it. After the fire and getting it towed to town etc he had to put whole new brake system, new bearings, pads, drums, etc.

Re: The uprising of the "Green Machine"

That doesn't sound like a good thing at all. Is it the same type as the one I have? mine is a "mico " . I think there is also a brake system called a micro. That one closes a solenoid that traps the fluid to the rear brake system holding the rear tires. Thanks for the info and I'll have to keep a eye on it for a while just to check the reliability so I don't have a problem. So far the one I have seems to be working great. Keep a eye open for future posts called" the Green Machine up in smoke"... Or " the Green Cloud"......I sure as hell hope not....lol

Re: The uprising of the "Green Machine"

It's been awhile since my last update. I bought a new house this summer which put the bus on the back burner. Today I roughed in the bathroom ( chemical only ). Tomorrow maybe close it in.

These pictures are of the passenger seat. It can slide all the way to dash and also slide back out of the way to easily enter bus. The seat swivels around to face backwards.
