Thinking about starting a Project

I'm at a time in my life where living in a house is becoming too expensive. I'm needing excitement. I want to travel the country. I think I'm ready to start a bus project, and become a full time RV dweller.

I have my eye on this bus:

I'm sure I can trade my car and get enough out of it to purchase this bus. However, I don't have any other money, and won't be able to make the conversion. I need to come up with a way to raise some money for this. I've been laid off, and jobs are hard to come by right now.

Anyway, here's the ideas I have for this project:

I was thinkin I'd buy this or a similar kitchen island.

I'd remove the wheels and probably have to build it up a few inches from the floor. I'd install this as my cabinets and counter, and cut out a hole and use a stainless steel bowl for a sink similar to how this guy made his.

I might have to get a few of these kitchen islands in various widths. I'd go with the stainless steel top, but can't decide if I want black or natural wood cabinets.

I'd probably need some kind of cabinets above the sink and counters, but not sure how much space I'm working with, nor have any ideas of what kind to get or how I could mount them.

I'd like to get a mini fridge like this one, but maybe slightly bigger:

and a full sized stainless steel microwave/convection oven. Not sure how I would install them.

Also in the kitchen, I'd want a countertop deep fryer, 2 hotplates, an electric griddle a crockpot a coffee maker, toaster, and a toaster oven. All of those in stainless steel as well.

I'd build a box with drawers to sit below my mattress. In front of that would be a divider to help keep the mattress from sliding forward. In front of that, I'd have this Flat Screen TV stand mounted on the floor.

The top part looks like it comes off, so while I'm driving or leave the bus, I can put the TV in a safe spot.

I'd line the floor with a truck bed liner, and over that I'm trying to decide if I want Hard Wood floor or Carpet.

I'd then like to get some bench seats out of a GMC Safari/Chevy Astro and have them facing each other with a table between them. Not sure if that'll fit. I might have to turn them sideways or get captain chairs or some other alternative.

I also want to leave room for a space in the back to haul a Honda Ruckus moped, so I'll have lighter transportation when I'm stopped boondocking.

Here's my floorplan, though it's not to scale, and might need adjusting depending on the size of the bus and the items I want to put in it.:

I think you could save some space, like the bed could be the bench seats and table. TV could be mounted almost anywhere, and dont buy so much crap from Walmart. If you look around, like Craigslist, you could save some money...just my .02s worth

We found out the expensive way... the coolant tubing runs thru the sidewalls in the fridges.
