I don't know about folks calling FROM a cell phone but we get lots of telemarketer calls and I have gotten a TTY call that was a scam for the food cart (2nd one we've gotten, one was on our TN cellphone from TX number and the other was on our NM cellphone from a local yet the name was from MD). Your situation sounds fishy. If you're not careful you could wake up surrounded by a chalk outline!
