That's looking great. I'm really curious to see anyone convert a transit bus. I've seen people using transit buses in the past but never have seen one done. Are there any major notable differences with the transit type bodys?

Looking good!! I would love to see some detail photos of your framing. Specifically how you are attaching to the chassis wall.

If that Gillig has Luminator signs and you want to have some fun with them, let me know. I reverse-engineered the protocol for my Luminator flip-dot signs and it wouldn't surprise me if they used substantially the same protocol on those amber light-up types. (by the way, is it neon or LED? Can't imagine it would be incandescent.)

Awesome!!! Yeah your the first to catch the Lab12 in my build....
They are shortly gonna be finally placed under the main couch seating area in the lounge. Right now they hold up my table - lol...
It's a sweet sound system so far, been making small changes with the iPad control and the system processor. The surround is great with a rackmount lexicon unit. I now just swapped to two Digitools MX16 processors for the crossovers and iPad level control...
With the TV was lighter though, it's the only thing that rattles when driving because of its weight and plastic case (it's not the mount that's custom welded) 70" were heavy 6 years ago when I got it...
Been working on rear room lots - gotta frame very back wall and figure out the bed folding cable electric actuated stupid touchscreen nerd system I was building. Also the desk that raises from under the bed...
Bed frame is in, but right now I have to manually fold it... Pfffft... like I wanna use muscle.
The chiller is working.... still tweaking a little, but as some would say it's keeping bus 72deg when it's over 105 outside.. so yeah. The crazy water chilled cooling system works...
I'm on instagram just recently @offgr1d
I post small videos and current projects (and video of some older projects) just starting to use it more recently..
I'm more active on that than on here - sorry...
Stay tuned....

Added awesome (inexpensive) power meters to my shore mains, generator feed and battery bank draw.
Updated my solar battery setup - I now have 720AH at 24v
Also tied solar bank to the bus alternator (its setup for 150amp from the original overhead bus air) I put 100amp fuse in-line and have a touch pad controlled contactor to engage when I drive if I choose. Last CA drive ran stereo, TV, and minisplit for the lounge the entire drive and never pulled from battery

Thanks Christopher! I've been working hard on it when I can. Finally doing some finish work now in the kitchen. It's coming along nice - got the backsplash in and sealed. Working on overhead soffit and final lighting.
Black FRP backsplash - the other black coating in the kitchen on wall is Acry-Tech Acrylic DuraTex coating. It's waterproof and very strong coating (again used on touring speaker cabinets) it was chosen as I love and work with these textures, so it sorta fits my personality.

I would LOVE to see these photos but all I'm seeing is a "Please Update Your Account To Enable 3rd Party Hosting" message from PhotoBucket.

I can't believe all your pictures are gone. So ridiculous. All that time and effort to document such an amazing build. We should form a posse and find the persons resbonsible. Or at least a strongly worded letter perhaps. Anyway is there a chance i can get you to send me some pics or your interior ceiling? Email or text?

I'm building a new website. As much as I love all the people on skoolie.net the support team has no solution for the image hosting issue. I would actually like to cater to not just skoolie builds, but also coach and van conversions. I have a hosting service that is unlimited storage. I feel the images should be hosted by the site itself and not rely on third parties so this issue doesn't happen to someone else. That was a lot of time wasted now with posting pics and copy paste links to get these images in the thread up - now it's all gone. I'm really beyond frustrated that it may force me to go elsewhere to document my build.

It is a genuine problem, as valuable information gleaned through often times painful process can be lost in the netherwebs.
Imagur or alternative is bet bet. Hosting images is technically simple and not just a function of free storage space, but more about liability for what bad creepers do with your hosting service.
