Re: Jacuzzi Bus IV

I've only had it in service a few weeks since I did some slight changes to the inside (which took me way too long). So I'm still trying to get it exposed by taking it to clubs in SA. I have some pretty good contacts that are helping with the process too. I sent it up to Austin for the first time on Dec 26th for a bachelor party and they really liked it. And I quote: "Within 10 seconds of getting dropped off at our first stop, there were 5 hot girls already in there!" Haha!...Have a 9-hr reservation in January and another one in February already for a girl's 21st birthday. The word is getting out with great reception so far.

Today I'm taking it to a shop for a detailed chassis and suspension inspection. There is a peculiar vibration that started near the end of the last run. Gotta keep her in tip-top working condition.

Re: Jacuzzi Bus IV

hey folks, running into some problems with sourcing parts for this baby. needs (soon) brake pads, torque arm bushings, and the kingpin (?) on the front passenger wheel is getting slack in it. this should be the source of the new vibration. I have someone at an International parts dealer looking for these parts and they are now having to look out of state. is there some special depot for old bus parts that I should know about?

Re: Jacuzzi Bus IV

call NAPA and give them as much information as you can, if they have a heavy duty parts specialist they should be able to find or cross reference any parts that you need. another option is to find an independant hd truck parts supplier, not a floormat and air freshener place or speed shop, but a real truck parts house, their has to be one in the area, its just a matter of finding them.
good luck

FWIW: Here's 5 authorized International Parts suppliers within a 75 mile radius of you (some are within 25):
http://129.33.208.17/site_layout/dealers/locator-it.asp
Just put in your city, state, and how far you're willing to go to get 'em, then submit. (I used the one below your avatar - New Braunfels, TX @ 75 miles)
They list addresses & phone #'s as well as maps & directions to get there.

Re: Jacuzzi Bus IV

Is that thing actually on an International chassis? I thought the TC2K's and All Americans were built on a Bluebird specific chassis, but I'm not sure who supplied it or if it was built in house. In either case I think a call to the nearest Bluebird dealer would be a good starting point.
