Best source of school bus batteries?

Need to replace mine. I want to get a couple that I can keep maintained and use when I eed to. I won't be driving more than a few times per year, so they don't need to be the best batteries in the world. Just ones that I can keep charged up and be able to stick in the bus and start it up, for as cheaply as possible. Where can I find batteries on the cheaper side of the range?

I found group 31's on sale at Rural King for $75 each.
Over a year later of only occasional use, and my bus starts the instant I turn the key.

Get some sort of battery maintainer, I use these.

022-0157-1

Plug it in and forget it, will keep battery at proper charge.

I leave it on all winter. There are cheaper non water proof models, I have mine mounted where it could get wet.

Their on-line batttery searcher didn't have my make of bus, but I'm sure they have a battery that would work for me. Do you have threaded posts on top? If so, do you know what specific battery you bought? I was going through battery by battery, but that could save me some time.

Batteries are universal. You need two group 31's or one 8D. What's in there now?

I have two ultrapower commercial. They have 925 cold cranking amps and 190 reserve capacity. How do you know what group number a battery is?

I found some on that site that look they will do for me. I am curious how you determine group size if it isn't listed on your battery though.

There are web sites that list group number by dimensions, shouldn't be too hard of a search.
