Bypass the ignition interlock system
Have a 1998 bluebird rear engine 72 passenger bus. In the process of painting the inside I cut some wrong wires and now I can’t get my bus started. Anybody have any clue how to bypass the system some of us will start again? Any help would be appreciated

And they think I'm dumb for having the engine run while while cutting wires. You would have known right away which of the 20 wires you cut is the culprit.

Right. I started the engine after each time but the next morning it would not start

Then what makes you think it was the wiring if it worked before and nothing changed to the wiring overnight?

Had a mechanic check it out and he says that is it but has no clue on how to by Pass. All else checks out. Can jump starter with a screwdriver runs good but won’t start with the key

According to Kevin, If I remove the relay labeled "VandalLock" and jumper between the connections labeled "30" and "87A" it will bypass the interlock.

The relay was behind the drivers side front access panel. The one that holds the windshield wiper.

Getting closer, my relays appear to be in front by the windshield but none labelled that vanledlock but in the side fuse panel there are a red and white wire that comedown from a buzzer in the drivers elbow that buzzes when trying to start vehicle

Got it working somewhat. It starts. put the rear hatch opening switch into middle of system and hooked it up now it fires up here is pictures of what it looks like but we need

The interlocks work one of three ways. They either close a circuit (to ground, or completing a loop) or they open a circuit (remove connectivity between OUT and IN) or they ground a circuit. So to disable them, you either snip the wire off, ground the wire, or if it's a loop, connect the wires together.
My Bluebird's interlocks were set to ground when a window was open, so I just cut the wire and no more interlock.
