dos-don't while bus is in storage

what should be done to the powertrain, fuel systems, carriage batteries, etc while the bus is laid up for 5-6 months in mid-Atlantic region during its conversion?

Disconnect batteries. Maybe add some anti-funk agents to the fuel.
Start it on occasion.
They sit for years sometimes. Six months isn't a huge deal.

Mine gets parked november to april most years. I add some diesel fuel treatment to the tank and top it off to avoid condensation forming. When the weather is good I'll give it a 20 mile drive once a month to warm up the engine and scrape the rust off the rotors. Batteries get charged every month or so if I don't drive it. Tires degrade slower if they're run once in a while.
