Wink

It looks very nice. The only thing I want to add that I read on other post. I'm not an expert or know anything about buses at all, but I read if you are planning on towing another vehicle with it you need a strong engine like a DT466 or 8.7 cummins, but I really love the rear engine buses.
Good Luck!

A 3126 will do just fine towing. Its a 7.2 liter engine and quite powerful for its size too.
275 hp and gobs of torque. That engine is a powerhouse!!

Nothing wrong with that bus. Most of the bad mouthing of the Cat 3126 if made from listening to others with no experience. Charlie has one now and has done a 180° opinion of it. I'd prefer a DT466, but would toss this purchase due to the 3126. What are they asking for it is the big question. It's a $3500 bus to me, maybe $4500 from a dealer.

I think my Genesis is a better bus and I thought I over paid at $3500. Now I think it was a fair price and well worth it. If I knew the price they were asking for yours I would not even inquired about the drivetrain.

marc, Yeah. You are the one who sent me down the IC RE300/AmTran Genesis WHATEVER!! route. I'd honestly prefer your set up. Especially for the $3500! Plus they are the best looking bus,and that counts, right?
Do I think I'm overpaying? Yeah. Is it worth it to me? Yeah.

I watched an IC RE300 go for $14.7k the other night.

I'm a bus noob to be sure, but seems the market is/has shifting

I'm frankly tired of searching and ready to get a bus home and begin my project. And, I have a history of overpaying

I think its a good bus and I hope she'll serve me well.

i don't think that bus is worth more than 4 or 5 grand even at a dealer.
