How about taking a wire wheel to the rear axle tubes and then looking for a BOM(bill of material) stamp beng 69 it should have it....might help

do they have removable third members?that tag may be just for it,that is why I said the axle tubes may have a BOM

i think there is a truck parts house in aberdeen, or i thought there was 5 yrs ago cause my wife worked at hosp there, and i was thinking of buying a logging truck there.

did you buy the crown that the guy also owned a coach for sale? think that one had rebuilt engine n on cl for months...

If you remove the axles shafts and everything bolted to it and take out the bolts circled,the Third member (or center chunk) etc will come out
This is probabley what the tag id's
The ring and pinion are in here.

Similar to 9in Ford,Toyota and isuzu as well as a bunch of other vehicles,it makes for swapping broken parts in remote areas alot easier than setting up new gears

The axle tube should have a BOM late would list date,vehicle etc on it.

Good news is onother gear set can be easily swapped w/o having to set up new gears
