I'm having a problem with what I thought was a 100% mechanical bus

When I bought my bus, I thought it was 100% mechanical. On my way back home I ran into a problem with a screeching noise about every 10-15 minutes. I tracked the noise to a device mounted on the left side of the bus next to the drivers seat. It says Panasonic on it. Can someone help find out what this thing is used for?

It could be anything from a video recorder to an alarm system to a radio. A pic might help ID it

Don't have a pic right now but will post one later. I did a little more research. It turns out this thing is called an AM/FM radio.

Antenna's probably not connected.

Note to self: Do Not read new posts with liquid in mouth. Darn near choked to death (and do you know that the nose makes for a great projectile device....too bad it was aimed at laptop)

You shouldn't shoot liquid out of your nose. It ends up in your keyboard. If you spit it out of your mouth, it hits your monitor and can be easily wiped down.
