I didn't know they used SS for them,I can see the anti-corrosion element,just curious since the lack of carbon is the reason for lack of rust....wonder what parts are SS?
A lot of SS is "soft" and since the bushings need to be reamed to size they can't be harden.
I now must "study" king pin replacement on these
only kingpins I have messed with were D60 stuff which was steel and bearings...not solid 1pc pins.
If they are lubricated and clean,is there an advantage worthy of the cost?

I will comment that $850 to R&R a truck frontend seems cheap...is this"per side"?
