The black line goes to the governor. I was able to buy new governor but did not install yet. I can't find the 150psi popoff safety valve where I am now in sw south dakota. Maybe tomorrow in rapid city. Not sure if issue is governor or pop off valve though...

Popoff valve shouldn't be bleeding off air at 90psi. But when I push in the button to prevent Popoff valve from bleeding air, why would governor allow pressure to build to 150plus psi?

Yes Popoff valve assembly has wire going to it. Unplugging didn't seem to change anything...

looks and sounds like the pop off valve to me. usually the part making noise is the problem.

read thru some of the bendix break trouble shooters. imo, the airdryer should have vented at 120, not your pop off.

maybe thats an accessory air line. one that only functions above a preset psi.
